JULIE HAWKINS, CTNLP, CTTLT™, CTH, MTEGH™
Julie Hawkins is CEO and co-founder of the Center for Spiritual and Noetic Studies and NewLogic Solutions Alternative Health. After transitioning from “high tech” to “high touch” in 2000, Julie accelerated her own personal and professional evolution by immersing herself in well over 1,500 hours of specialized training. Julie began by taking a rigorous training program to become a professional coach and graduated from there to become a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), Hypnosis and Time Line Therapy™. She concluded her certification training in “brain” change technologies by becoming a trainer in these same modalities.
The floodgates opened and Julie soon realized that a true holistic approach was necessary for healing. Julie began her energy training in Reiki, becoming a Master/Teacher. She then trained for three years in the energy medicine modality of Acutonics™ Sound Healing (based on the ancient system of acupuncture) which offers a traditional understanding of the body as well as energetic.
At the same time Julie felt the immediate pull to Huna and invested several years to train in Hawaiian Shamanism, a truly comprehensive, energy based program for healing and so much more. This training became the foundation for her life as well as the certification training offered by the Center for Spiritual and Noetic Studies.
Among others, Julie is also trained in Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection, which is representative of the new higher frequency healing modalities that we are transitioning to on the planet. More recently Julie attended the Flower of Life and Merkaba activation training based in the sacred geometry of the Universe and the Unity Consciousness to enable multi-dimensional healing.
All of this training prepared Julie for the next step in her evolution. In 2009, Julie channeled in a very simple, yet powerful emotional healing modality that she named Energy Grid Healing™. This modality is currently taught in the Master Energy and Hawaiian Shamanic Practitioner Certification program. “I am well versed in a variety of energy medicine techniques and modalities and Energy Grid Healing™ is by far the easiest and most effective emotional healing technique out there. What’s more it can be completely client-centered, which means it is tremendously empowering,” comments Julie.
Julie and her partner Chris are continuously advancing their own skills so they can bring their students the most eclectic and solid training program available. Although their foundation is firmly in Hawaiian shamanism, they have taken Native American shamanic trainings as well and are often called to explore other ancient information that they then bring to their students.
Julie is currently training to become an ordained spiritualist minister, a two year program with the Universal Church of the Master, an institution that recently celebrated its 100th birthday.
Julie lives in San Jose, California where she maintains her alternative healing practice specializing in emotional breakthroughs.
Min. Chris Kahl, R.N., CMPNLP, CMPTLT™, Huna Alaka’i
On December 21, 2010, this world lost one of the most loving, compassionate and capable individuals I have ever known.
Chris Kahl, R.N. was a trainer and co-founder with Center for Spiritual and Noetic Studies.
Chris’s early foundation and training was as an intensive care/cardiac care nurse where she quickly realized there was more to the healing process than Western medicine could offer. After about three years of the constant grind at the hospital, Chris struck out in a different direction.
While working with physicians in the private setting, Chris began her education and training in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Chris was a Reiki Master/teacher and trained with many prominent energy medicine pioneers in this field such as Reverend Rosalyn Breuyere, Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and others. This ongoing training spanned more than a quarter century. Chris spent four years as an apprentice with Michael Tierra, a prominent acupuncturist, herbalist and author in Santa Cruz, California. This training was a natural segue for Chris into the energy medicine modality of Acutonics™ Sound Healing (based on the ancient system of acupuncture).
Chris was always drawn to working with the body and in addition to all her other skills, with over 17 years of experience she was gifted at sports massage and CranioSacral Therapy.
Chris minored in psychology in college because the mind intrigued her. She went on to become a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and Time Line Therapy™, feeling that this education gave her deeper insight into the way the mind works so she could help her clients on a deeper level.
While Chris was studying Acutonics™, she also began her four-year training in Hawaiian Shamanism (known as Huna). At the end of this period Chris received the designation of Huna Alakai’i (which means “teacher”). Huna is a comprehensive body of knowledge and techniques for living a full and meaningful life. It was so important in her life that it was incorporated as a certification-training program offered by the Center for Spiritual and Noetic Studies.
Chris was continuously advancing her own skills so as to bring her students the most eclectic yet solid training program available. Chris brought her compassion, insight, versatility and warm sense of humor to work at the Center for Spiritual and Noetic Studies, as well as to her many clients. She was always striving to help people to feel their best and move happily and boldly ahead in their lives.
She is deeply missed.
